What is Youth Take Action?
Youth Take Action is a student run organization dedicated to encouraging and aiding students in their activism. Students have the capability and freedom to fight for what they believe is right. Students and youth of all demographics are affected by sexual discrimination, racial discrimination, gun control, immigrants rights, environmental degradation, educational rights, and a host of other issues; we should therefore strive for a voice in these national discussions. Youth Take Action strives to give a voice and platform to all passionate young activists and remind them that they do not stand alone.
Focuses and Issues
We focus on a wide variety of issues
Gun control has become an important issue for students across the country. Gun violence affects not only students targeted in school shootings, but also unfairly impacts minorities. Low income, racial minority communities and LGBTQ+ communities often face gun violence. It is critical to the national conversation to include the voices of all demographics who are affected by such violence and hold politicians responsible to their promise to protect all citizens.

Voter Registration
In California, those who will be sixteen years or older by the next election can pre-register to vote in that election. In the link bellow you can register and pre-register to vote and have voter information and your ballot mailed to you prior to every election. No matter your political affiliation it is vital to vote at every election. Your vote matters!
